Corrine Bailey Rae, 28, the widow of Jason Rae, visited his grave to pay her respects. Jason’s grave had a 32 ft Easter cross at Otley Chevin, in West Yorkshire, Leeds. This was the first time that the singer had ventured out of her house since the death of her husband on the Easter weekend’s Saturday.
The official inquest had established that Jason Rae, 31, had died from a suspected overdose of drugs. Jason’s friends have said that he had drink and drug addiction problems. He had struggled with his addictions for some years. Sometimes, Corrine would refuse to let him enter their home because he was under the influence. However, the Raes’ friends said that they had a strong marriage and loved each other.
