Madonna scandalizes her Mayor.

Madonna has been criticized for speaking out against London’s transport system. She blamed London’s Mayor Ken Livingstone for the traffic problems. This was seen as hypocritical. Madonna had the luxury of being chauffeur driven and she had no experience on taking the public transport.

Madonna showed her aspiration to lead when she said that she wished she could abolish the congestion charge. She also criticized the ongoing road works. She told the magazine “Q” that she would rather walk. Nobody would believe that.

Mayor Livingstone’s spokesman has answered Madonna’s charge. He said that traffic would suffer a gridlock if there was no congestion charge.
