Breaking News - Neil Aspinall, the fifth Beatle, died.

Neil Aspinall, the man known as the fifth Beatle, has died, at the age of 66. He had lung cancer and was treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. Paul McCartney flew in to New York to visit him over the Easter weekend.

Apple Corps, the Beatles’ company, made a statement on behalf of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison. The spokesman said that Neil left behind a great legacy. His past work for the company was great. They remembered him as a good friend and chief executive. Neil had contributed so much as a back up musician and accounts manager of the Beatles that they referred to him as the fifth Beatle.
Neil left behind Suzy, his wife of 40 years and 5 children. No announcements were made about the funeral services. There was very little information on Neil’s death.
