Governor David Paterson and wife both had affairs

One leaves office because of an affair and the next one that comes into office admits to a previous affair. What is going on with the state of New York? Not to mention, I wonder how many other governors are hiding intimate affairs from their wives and the public.

Eliot Spitzer officially stepped down from office yesterday at noon and was replaced by his lieutenant governor, David Paterson. An interesting fact about the new governor- he is legally blind. He made a nice speech that warmed the public and is going to try and get things back on track, or so we think….

Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, shared with New York Daily News that they had both been involved in intimate affairs with others during a rough patch in their marriage several years back. Governor David Paterson admitted to having a 2-3 years relationship with another woman, beginning in 1999. There may even be a child out there that came as an accident with david’s mistress.
