Gemma Arterton will become Tess of the d’Urbervilles.

The new Bond girl, Gemma Arterton, has been offered a new role in BBC’s series on Thomas Hardy’s famous book, Tess of the d’Urbervilles. Gemma had her lucky star and the Quantum Of Solace to thank.

Just 6 months ago, Gemma was struggling to make ends meet as a beauty shop assistant in Covent Garden, in London. Now, she can afford to have her own stylist.

In the Bond movie, Gemma played Agent Fields, who was a good kick boxer. After her filming with the Bond movie wraps up, she would be starting a new movie from Guy Ritchie. This film would have a ganster plot and it is called “RocknRolla.”
