Doomsday.
This story is similar to “I Am Legend.” A team of specialists have to eradicate an infectious virus from the danger zones. They have to work against the clock before the virus becomes epidemic on a large scale and wipe out human beings from earth. Cast- Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Adrian Lester, Alexander Siddig, David O’Hara, Malcolm McDowell.
Funny Games.
A family of three members went on a vacation. They were stalked and tortured by two psychos. They were cut off from external help and have to fight for their survival. Cast- Naomi Watts, Michael Pitt, Tim Roth, Brady Corbet, Devon Gearhart.
Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who.
The big elephant Horton became obsessed to rescue someone who he had heard crying for help. The community could not understand him and thought that he became mad. Cast- Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Dane Cook, Amy Poehler, Jesse McCartney.
Never Back Down.
This is a story about a victim who fought back by learning the necessary skills. After a humiliating session under a bully, Jake learnt marital arts fighting and has never backed down ever since. Cast- Sean Faris, Djimon Hounsou, Amber Heard, Cam Gigandet, Evan Peters, Leslie Hope.
Sleepwalking.
A girl got unofficially adopted by her uncle when there was no one else to care for her. Cast- Charlize Theron, Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb, Dennis Hopper, Woody Harrelson, Deborra-Lee Furness.
Wetlands Preserved: The Story Of An Activist Rock Club.
This is a documentary on the Wetlands, which was a popular nightclub in NYC. A branch of the club, Wetlands Preserve was opened in 1989 and it advocated social and environmental change. There are actual vintage footage and original recordings. They are aided by digital animation. The history and memories of the Wetlands are shown in this documentary.
