Patrick Swayze continues smoking despite cancer treatment.

Patrick Swayze was waiting for his private plane to fly him home when he started smoking a cigarette. The press caught him doing that. It made no difference to him that he had just finished a session of chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer at the Stanford University Medical Center in California.
It was rumored that Patrick was feeling the pain of fighting his pancreatic cancer. Patsy Swayze, the 81 year old mother of Patrick Swayze, told the National Enquirer that her son was hanging onto his life and getting the best treatment possible.
The treatment was a radical new form that involved blood transfusions and experimental drugs. Patrick has remained cheerful while working on his projects.

Before everyone starts in jumping on the bandwagon and calling Patrick Swayze “stupid,” let’s remember that many people suffer from addictions to many things and none of us can sit in judgment of them until we’re in their shoes. And don’t say, “Oh, I wouldn’t do that…” because EVERYONE has something that they’re hooked on, whether it’s a physical or emotional addiction, a mild or a severe one.
The diagnosis IS really serious, Gerard…pancreatic cancer has a less-than-five-year survival rate for most patients. At this point, the damage is done and if the man is suffering, let him have the few creature comforts he can. Everybody let him alone and focus on some of the other indecent people who do anything and everything they want and are still walking around, irritating the world in general (like some of the “great” rappers people seem to love so much.
