Christie’s auction house in New York would be holding an auction to sell photos of celebrities. Some photos of supermodels like Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen were nude.

The private collections from Gert Elfering would go under the hammer in April. The naked pictures of Kate and Gisele might get about $40,000 each. These photos were taken by the famous cameraman, Irving Penn. The entire auction was anticipated to fetch about $6 million.

Gert recounted his personal story of how he started his photo collection with a book and poster. He had no money then but slowly managed to accrue small prints and went on to buy expensive prints. Finally, in 1998, he bought the complete archive of photographer Horst P. Horst.
