Danny Noriega remained unrepentant over old videos.

Danny Noriega was cool when he was interviewed regarding his early departure form American Idol. He said that he was glad he remained true to himself. One backlash that resulted from his loss was the debate about his sexuality. Danny’s old video about being a gay was widely seen. There was speculation that he could have been a victim of homophobia and people did not vote for him because of what he said he was.

Danny refused to comment directly on his sexuality. He said that it was his private issue. He declined to elaborate on his old video clip on his controversial message on Santa Claus and mothers . He said that it was made a long time ago and that it was acting.
