Robert Downey Jr, 42, has taken on the most controversial role in his Hollywood career. He wore a wig and black makeup to play a black man in “Tropic Thunder.”
Robert’s co-stars include Ben Stiller and Jack Black. Robert said that he realized that he would receive a backlash for his controversy. He hailed the role as a good one. He said that he hoped he had portrayed the role correctly.
This movie was about a group of proud actors who wanted to shoot an expensive Vietnam war movie. The film makers dropped them into the real jungle for them to get a real taste of life. The actors became involved in a conflict which they thought was make-believe and part of the set.
