American Idol’s Danny Noriega has been voted out. When Ryan Seacrest announced this, Chikezie gave Danny a hug. Nearly everyone was emotional. Chikezie’s parents were present in the audience and his mother was seen mouthing some words of relief.

Danny had a good gripe on himself. He was sufficiently composed to sing his swan song. Paula Abdul was standing on her feet most of the time. I think she was emotional too. Or maybe she was getting tired being seated for a long time. She cheered for Danny and supported him for this last lap.
