American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, has a new film project under his belt. He would produce a film about one of his protégés – Paul Potts. Paul was the lucky talent that was spotted in “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2007.

Paul Potts won a sponsorship and made his first album called “One Chance.” It sold 3 million copies. It opened up more opportunities for Paul. Now, he has a schedule to perform 65 concerts in 13 countries.

Simon told the press that his first impression of Paul was of a guy in a funny little suit with bad teeth. He said that the room had an audience of 2000 and they were captivated by Paul’s singing. Now, Simon’s SyCo production will collaborate with Hollywood to develop the movie, tentatively named as “Billy Elliot.”
