American Idol’s Danny Noriega had a troubled past.

American Idol’s Danny Noriega had issues in the past. He was a student at Sierra (Continuation) High School in Azusa, California. That was a special school that was dedicated to “at-risk” children. This meant that the students were behind in credits and at risk of not making it to graduation. The school helped them to succeed and get their high school diplomas.

Danny graduated last year. The sources revealed that he had a hard time going through his “gothic” phase. That was about the time he made his rebellious Christmas video clip. We ran the video clip/post here. Another source who knew about Danny’s background claimed that Danny had several issues that made him a candidate for the school.
