US Airmen video on drugs, booze and sword play.

American airmen in Mildenhall, Suffolk, made a video clip that showed what they did in their recreation. A voice was heard introducing the video as footage from Mildenhall Air Base. A man was shot on film snorting a line of white powder. Many men in civilian clothes were drinking and dancing. A man was brandishing a Samurai sword and deftly showing off his sword moves with his agile hands.

In the past year, several US servicemen have been tried, jailed and banned from the forces. Their offences included the use of cannabis, ecstasy and cocaine. A USAF military policeman gave his ex-landlord a DVD that had footage of what really went on at the base. He said that it was interesting to know about it.

The spokesman for the air base said that they were investigating the case.
