American Idol’s David Hernandez was a scandalized stripper.

American Idol contestant, David Hernandez, had a past that was exposed. He worked as a male stripper in a gay bar. A website named VoteForTheWorst had unearthed his gay stripper photos.

The AP press interviewed a manager from David’s old workplace, Dick’s Cabaret. The staff said David made good money in the club. He stripped nude and did lap dances for male patrons. He quit in Sept. 2007 when he decided he had to prepare himself for American Idol.

David and the judges did not make any public comments on his stripper past. It was unknown if the judges knew about his past. The most revealing things David had confessed about his past were about being raised by a single mom and living out of a car.
