John Caudwell has offered Whitney Houston around $3.4 million to perform a 1hour gig at a London charity function. He is a billionaire philanthropist who made his fortune in the mobile phone industry. The charity would be the Caudwell Children Charity.

Whitney demanded diva treatment in her dressing room. She requested for M & M sweets, pulp-free orange juice, chamomile tea, cranapple and crangrape juices and peanut butter and jam sandwiches. Other items included 2 full length mirrors with makeup lights, 12 hand towels, 2 fans, pumpernickel and sourdough bagels with cream cheese and 4 bottles of American spring water. For her entourage, Whitney asked for 2 large banquet tables, clothing racks, flowers and doughnuts.

John thought that Whitney would raise the profile of his Charity. If the deal became successful, this would be Whitney’s first performance in Britain since 1999. She had a long rehabilitation for her problems. She was a recluse for the past 2 years as she fought her ex-husband Bobby Brown in their divorce case.
