The cast of “A Raisin in the Sun.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs will star in “A Raisin in the Sun”, a story about Walter Lee Jr. Sean said that he felt destined to play this role because his dad was killed when he was 3 years old. He grew up in a household full of females that were his grandmother, mother and sister.

Sean revealed that his childhood was tough. His grandma and mother worked at two jobs each. Yet they could not afford to buy his preferred requests. He said that he was excited about his new acting career.

The cast included Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald and Sanaa Lathan. This story was about the family called Younger and their struggles in life. “A Raisin in the Sun” airs on Monday on Ch. 7, at 8 pm.
