Melanie Brown joins Access Hollywood.

Melanie Brown, or Mel B, would be working with Access Hollywood, the US celebrity news show. One of her first assignments would be to interview her fellow contestants in Dancing With The Stars. Mel B reached the finals in the last season.

Mel, 32, said that she was looking forward to her interviews. Her new job was probably one of the reasons why she was in a hurry to quit the Spice Girls Reunion Tour. It would launch her solo career and benefit her more than being in a band.

Geri Halliwell, her band mate, said that after February, all the Spices had different commitments. Those with children had to return to their old routines because the kids had to go back to school.
