Kirstie Alley said farewell to Jenny Craig.

Kirstie Alley, 57, has quit from the international weight loss company, Jenny Craig Company. She had gained weight and there was speculation that her present image was unsuitable for Jenny Craig. She started being a spokesman for Jenny Craig diet program in 2005. She lost 5 stone in the 3 years while she was maintaining the diet.

Kirstie told People magazine that she valued her experience in Jenny Craig. She desired to create her own new program that would help millions of people get off the “fatty roller coaster ride.” She will develop her weight loss brand and launch it in 2009.

Jenny Craig’s vice-president , Scott Parker, said that they regretted Kirstie’s decision to quit their company.
