Steven Kazmierczak – history of erratic behaviors / photos.

Steven Kazmierczak, 1981, age 1.

Steven Kazmierczak seemed to be the All American guy as he gave no indication of his troubled past. Those who knew him spoke well of him. He was a good student, good teacher aide and friend.

A Chicago psychiatric treatment center’s ex-staff spoke up and said that Steven was once a patient there. His parents admitted him there after high school. He used to cut himself and refused to take his medications.

Steven used to work as a prison guard. Suddenly one day, he did not turn up for work. He had a brief stint in the US Army, for 6 months from 2001-2002. He told his friend he was discharged on a psychological condition. He told his professor that it was an incompatibility discharge. The Army spokesman said it was unspecified discharge.

In the late 1990s, Steven was sent to the Thresholds-Mary Hill House. The ex-house manager, Louise Gbadamashi ,said that he was unruly at home and his parents admitted him there. He did not show any violent behavior. She said that one of his problems included the refusal to admit his mental illness.

Indeed, when Steven had to sign a form before purchasing a fire arm, he did not declare his history of mental illness. He knew that it would deter his application for a gun permit.

Police visited his apartment and was admitted in by his girlfriend. They have also removed Steven’s laptop from a hotel room and have started IT forensic science to recover information.
