Jacqueline Timmons & Andrew Hardie – killed in New York.

Jacqueline Timmons, 30, and her partner, Andrew Hardie, 48, were killed in a weird freak accident in Manhattan, New York. The accident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 10:30 pm, on 35^th Street, near Sixth Avenue.

Their house in Yeovil, Somerset, UK.

The couple were travellers from UK who were sightseeing in NY. A garbage truck went out of control and ploughed into them. NY police have charged the truck driver, Auvryn Scarlett, 52, with manslaughter and criminal negligent homicide. Police said that Auvryn had a medical condition that caused seizures and should have taken his medication but he chose to abstain from his medicines.

 The accident was a result of his actions. It was thought that he fell unconscious at the wheel because of a seizure. His truck barrelled out of control and hit a car, curb, lamp posts, street signs, store fronts and smashed into a deli.
