This Sunday night, London is in competition with Hollywood’s Grammy Awards. The UK celebrities had their BAFTAS Awards ceremony in the Royal Opera House, London. Hundreds of fans waited outside the red carpet to look at the celebrities as they arrived and walked in.

Keira Knightley was very modest about her role in the Atonement and said that she was very excited to see just how many Awards the movie Atonement will pick up. It was nominated for 14 awards.

Even the most reclusive of celebrities, like Daniel Day Lewis, showed up for this event. This year’s function was said to be even more glamorous to make allowances to offset the gloom after the Hollywood writers’ strike affected the Golden Globes in January.
