Angelina Jolie made news in Iraq.

Angelina Jolie was in Iraq to fulfill her role as a UN goodwill ambassador. She accompanied the US State Department to learn about the plight of 4 million Iraqis who were displaced during the war.

Angelina said that she was trying to understand what were the pieces of the jigsaw that were required to put the action into the talk. She said that Iraq and the consequences would affect the Middle East. It would be in the best interest of the US to address this issue of displacement because it had the potential to cause instability and aggression.

Angelina met the US troops in the Green Zone, General David Petraeus, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Iraqi migration officers. She even dined in the cafeteria with the soldiers.
