Rachel Rourke donated her hair.

Rachel Rourke, 14, grew her hair for 8 years but sacrificed it for a cancer stricken child. She donated her hair to a charity for it to fashion the hair into a wig for a sick patient without hair. She collected around £ 200 with her hair raising fund activities. While her hair was donated to the Little Princess Trust, the money would be donated to her local UK animal charity, named as the PDSA.

Rachel said that she was shocked to sacrifice her hair but she liked her new look. She has decided to keep it short at shoulder length. Her hairdresser, GJ’s The Salon, did not charge for her hair cut.
