Martine McCutcheon shared a kiss with her female co-star in ITV’s sitcom about the making of Echo Beach. Susan, the TV character from Echo Beach, was secretly filmed while she was chatting with Mel, the TV production assistant character. Susan was a housewife character. Mel was played by actress Liz Berrington. Then, during a moment of bonding, the 2 female characters locked lips.

Martine was interviewed and she expressed her excitement in her role. She said that they had a younger audience and the show should be going from strength to strength. She said that the cast got along well. Martine revealed that she did not read the press reports about herself. However, she indirectly encouraged positive comments to be directed to ITV and the shows’ producers. She said that they would act on constructive feedback to improve the shows.
