Dita von Teese was a fetish model before she became really famous. Her signature was the retro pin-up look. She used makeup, lingerie and shoes that were reminiscent of the era belonging to the 1940s. She wore her corset for many years and managed to reduce her natural waistline down to 22 inches. When she wore a tighter corset, her waist could be further reduced to 16 and half inches! Her small frame probably helped her as she stood at 5’ 3” and weighed 105 pounds.

Dita was an artist who desired perfection in her art. Her striptease stage shows often used elaborate costumes, props and characters. Her signature act involved a giant martini glass with her inside. Cameron Diaz once did that dance in “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle” and Dita’s name was mentioned in the credits for the movie.
