Kate Silverton, BBC celebrity, has plastic surgery scandal

Kate Silverton, a BBC newsreader, has instructed her lawyer to sue a Harley Street plastic surgeon, Jan Stanek. She had a minor, routine laser surgery to remove scarring on her cheeks but suffered painful and horrible swellings. Kate applied for 2 weeks of leave to recuperate from her discomforts.

Dr. Jan Stanek was considered to be one of the best cosmetic surgeons in UK. He had appeared in several TV shows because of his famous reputation. His Fraxel SR treatment that was given to Kate was supposed to cause minimal side effects like redness for a few days. However, Kate suffered a massive outbreak of problems on her face. She had spots, sores, swellings and pain.

The spokesman for Jan Stanek’s clinic said that due to patient confidentiality, they would not discuss details of their patients.
