Cheryl Tunney, who appeared on BBC TV about her story, has complained about the aftermath effects of her confession. She said that she received abuse from the public.

Cheryl’s story about her loss of virginity at 16, and having slept with 50 men did not go down well with some people. She said that people hurled verbal abuse like calling her a “slapper.” That was a British slang for a sarcastic rebuke.

Cheryl presently has found a new and steady boyfriend. He is 39 years old and twice her age. Cheryl said that he had received verbal abuse from people. She said that they were handling the situations by ignoring the verbal abuse.
