Miss South Florida, Jessica Wittenbrink – scandal of the sabotaged gown.
Posted on January 22, 2008Jessica Wittenbrink called the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office when her beauty pageant gown was found with 4 red lipstick smears. Jessica’s 13 fellow contestants were questioned. The officers did not find enough conclusive evidence to name a suspect.
Jessica wore the sabotaged gown. Of course, she won the sympathy of many. She won the Miss South Florida Fair crown.
Jessica, 21, is a business major at Northwood University. She revealed that her ambition was to become a CEO of a stock brokerage company. Her prizes included $4000 for a scholarship, and a performance of “Someone Like You” from the musical of “Jekyll and Hyde.”
Jessica’s mother was interviewed but all she wanted to say was that Jessica was thrilled. The organizers also declined comment on the scandal. The sheriff’s office had closed the case because no evidence could be found.
