Suzanne Shaw and Matt Evans during another show that was performed before the fall.
Suzanne Shaw, the former singer of Hear’Say, and her partner, Matt Evans, suffered a fall while rehearsing an ice dance routine. Suzanne slipped on the ice and landed on her face. Matt was behind her and his skate clipped her head when he fell too. Suzanne had bruises to her arms and bum. The paramedics rushed to her side and treated her immediately.
The blood stains on the ice took half an hour to clear and the rink was closed during that time. The other celebrities who had to practice their skating routines looked spooked and nervous. Suzanne passed a medical examination and she competed in the same evening’s contest.
