Laura McLaughlin claims Pete Doherty is her baby’s Daddy

Laura McLaughlin, 20, was the god-daughter of Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson. She claimed that she was 3 months pregnant, with Pete Doherty’s baby. She met Pete at Berkeley Hotel, in London, in Oct. 2007. They had sex over the weekend. Laura claimed that she was a virgin and had no doubts that the baby was fathered by Pete. She called him and told him the news over the phone. She said that his reaction ranged from pride to apathy. He expressed disbelief that the child was his.

Laura said that they had a meaningful time together. Although Pete said that their relationship would continue, it never did. Laura discovered her pregnancy when she was admitted into hospital for a fainting spell. Her doctor told her that she was expecting a baby.

Pete’s spokesman said that Pete has denied knowing Laura.

Until there is definite proof that Pete is the father of Laura’s baby, we should assume that this gossip is just hot air.
