Would you fancy owning a life like waxwork of your favorite celebrity? The House of Wax Museum, at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, had announced that it was auctioning off 75 of its waxworks. It needed to clear room and create space for its crowded collection. Some pieces of art do not resemble their celebrity characters. Some pieces were too outdated as they were created when the celebrities were much younger.

Some of the celebrity figurines on sale may include those of Prince Charles, John Travolta, Chris Tarrant, Anthea Turner, George Best, Tony Adams, Diana Dors, Adam Ant, Barry Sheen, Robin Cousins, Harold Macmillan, Jimmy Carter, Princess Diana, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Bob Hope, Tom Jones, Jackie Stewart, Derek Jameson, Harry Secombe, Ted Heath, Dame Shirley Bassey and Barry Manilow.
Diana Diors.
Peter Hayes, 80, the curator of the House of Wax, said that the original cost of each head was £1000 but the auction would sell them at £50-80 each.
