Model Bambi’s chain murder case re-opened.
Posted on January 12, 2008

Sheila Bamber aka Bambi, during her hey days as a popular model.
On Aug 7, 1985, 3:25 am, Jeremy called his local police to report that his father, Neville Bamber, had dialed to tell him that his sister, Sheila, had a gun and was going crazy. Sheila, 28 in 1985 and Jeremy, 24 at 1985, were the adopted children of Neville and June Bamber. Sheila worked as a model with her pseudonym, Bambi. She was also known to have suffered from some forms of mental illness.
On Aug 7, Sheila was thought to have murdered her parents, her 2 sons, and then shot herself in the neck twice. However, the police had doubts that she could do that twice and so they changed their charges/ prosecutions.

Jeremy Bamber has been imprisoned for more than 20 years. This was his shot, supposedly in 1985.
Jeremy was instead prosecuted for the murders of 5 lives. He vehemently claimed that he was innocent. His girlfriend was mad at him and gave evidence that he suggested he desired to get rid of his family to claim the inheritance. The court did not investigate thoroughly these allegations and convicted Jeremy.
However, the police have re-examined the evidence and came to another conclusion. They suspected that Sheila killed her parents and sons and watched the police from inside the house. The police had recorded evidence to say that they saw movement inside the house but when they bust in, all 5 people were dead. They explained that when Sheila realized that the police were blasting down the door and gaining entry, she shot herself a second time in the neck.
Jeremy Bamber and his lawyers may launch another appeal to prove his innocence. It remains to be seen what the court may rule for the case. The story here is not conclusive. If you are interested to read the full length article, please refer to the source.
