Have you ever wondered what went into the making of Britney Spears? Her history has been preserved in a museum, in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana. This town is located deep in America’s South. The population stood at only 2, 205.

Britney Spears was born in 1981. Her parents were Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. She had an older brother named Bryan. Britney’s parents divorced in 2002 after 27 years of marriage.

Britney loved the performing arts like music and dance since young. She had a large collection of her dance and gymnast costumes.

The Kentwood Historical and Cultural Arts Museum has displayed Britney’s stage costumes. There was a set where Britney’s childhood bedroom was reconstructed and her belongings were displayed in a realistic scene. There were a total of 4 rooms devoted to Britney Spears memorabilia. Tourists have visited and boosted the economy of Kentwood.

There was a stage replica of Britney’s 2001 concert, “Deam Within A Dream.” Britney’s awards, photos, soft toys, gymnast costumes, and other mementos of Britney’s early days before she relocated to Los Angeles were displayed. There were many photos of Britney’s aunt, Sandra Covington, who died from cancer last January. Britney’s friends claimed that she was affected by her aunt’s death and went into rehab in March 2007 because of her grief.
