Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry’s girlfriend, is still stranded in Kenya because of the riots. Chelsy and her family were at a game reserve near Mombasa and would remain there until it became safe for them to return to Cape Town. Chelsy’s friend had told the press that Chelsy was cool about her unexpected extended holiday. She said that she intended to top up her sun tan and vodka.

The political climate in Nairobi was unstable as President Mwai Kibaki faced allegations that his re-election was rigged. Chelsy did not worry about the situation as she was photographed having a good time with her girlfriends.
