Carla Bruni has made international headlines since she openly started dating French President Sarkozy. People have started researching on her background and this was what they discovered.
Carla might be the daughter of a businessman named Maurizio Remmert. He supposedly had an affair with Marisa, Carla’s mother. Carla was born on Dec 23, 1967.
Alberto, Marisa’s husband, knew about his wife’s extra-marital affair but accepted Carla as part of his brood. He confessed to Carla the secret of her birthright just before dying in 1996.

The writer who broke the story has refused to make any further comments. The story was written before Carla started dating French President Sarkozy. She said that because of the concerns of Carla, Remmert and the French government, she would not be talking anymore on this issue.
