Natalie Imbruglia, 32, has split from her husband of 4 years, Daniel Johns. Natalie said that work pressures separated them. Natalie was an Australian but she chose to be based in the UK because her music career was built in the UK. Daniel lived in Australia.

Natalie and Daniel issued a joint statement to express their sorrows that their marriage had ended. They said that they remained friends. Their careers and lives apart had separated them. Their statements were meant to clarify the situation and eliminate speculations.

Prior to this announcement, there was speculation that the couple was experiencing relationship problems because of their long distance marriage.
