Every Friday, we bring you the list of new movies that are being released this weekend, or have been released very recently. For today, there were only two that would open this weekend.

The Killing Of John Lennon.

This is the biography of Mark David Chapman. It tells how Mark plots to kill John Lennon, of the Beatles’ fame. The lead is played by Jonas Ball.

One Missed Call.

A woman named Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) witnesses two of her best friends at their dying moments. She knows that they received scary messages on their cell phones. These messages predicted their deaths. The detective, Jack Andrews, (Edward Burns) who is assigned to investigate the deaths helps Beth to discover the culprit behind the phone messages.
