Posted on December 28, 2007Glenn Close is 60 and when she was interviewed about her most famous movie, “Fatal Attraction”, she said that her character, Alex Forrest, actually helped to save marriages. She said that the movie encouraged men to be faithful husbands. She had many cases of men going up to her to tell her that her role in the movie affected their lives.
Glenn criticized Hollywood over the treatment of scriptwriters. She said that writers for TV received better deals than writers for movies. She noted the reversal of trends with TV scriptwriting becoming better than movie scripts. Her interview with the Radio Times can be read from the latest edition, on Dec. 27, 2007.
