Casie Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby, was certified by some sources as being 18. That meant he would not be charged with rape of a minor because of his age at the time the act was committed.

He has gone into hiding from the press but his uncle, Odus Jackson, 71, a pastor, talked to the press. He revealed the following facts.

Casie Aldridge attended a junior college in Mississippi but quit. He has a job in a pipe laying company in Baton Rouge, La. He was schooled in Amite School Center, in Liberty, Miss. His school principal, Dan Brewer, said he played football and baseball. Casie was class president, honored as a campus favorite and showed versatility. He was publicity shy and quiet. He loved deer hunting and riding dirt bikes. His parents, Joyce and Mark, live in Tennessee.
