Celebrity continues campaign from her grave.

Celebrity socialite Maureen Hamilton suffered painfully from cigarette induced emphysema. Maureen has allowed her shocking photos to be publicized in her campaign against smoking. She wanted the world to know what had happened to her.

Maureen blamed the social pressures 22 years ago for her addiction to smoking. She said that she was hooked onto cigarettes to show a false aura of prestige. Her addiction grew heavier and she was smoking up to a full pack a day. She had been ill since 1977 and progressively grew weaker as she succumbed to her illness.

Maureen Hamilton passed away last week. One of her dying wishes was to have her story publicized in her campaign to educate people on the dangers of smoking.
