The Golden Compass was gold so Nicole Kidman had to steal the thunder from her movie by wearing silver. Her dress suit looked like an inspiration from The Wizard of Oz’s The Tin Man. Was it wrong for Nicole to wear silver when she was promoting The Golden Compass? She had a rousing welcome from her home crowd as she attended the premiere of The Golden Compass in Australia.

This season’s tidings have brought another 2 celebrities to dress in silver. Jennifer Ellison dressed as a silver angel in BBC’s “The Liverpool Nativity.” UK’s TV chef, Nigella Lawson, was among the first to wear silver when she posed for Esquire’s October magazine wearing a bacofoil dress.
