Miley Cyrus’ Star Status and Earnings Continue to Rise
Posted on December 15, 2007Hannah Montana star, Miley Cyrus, has added 14 more dates to her U.S. tour after consistent sold-out concert dates across the nation and controversy over fan club allocations. The 15-year-old Disney starlet will play the original 55 dates as well as 14 new shows in 2008 with the Best Of Both Worlds Tour concluding in Miami, Florida on January 31, 2008.
Tickets for the new concerts will go on sale on Saturday December 15, 2007 and are expected to sell out within minutes. Cyrus was at the center of legal proceedings in November after the star’s fan club launched a class-action suit. The club alleged that members had only paid to join because they had been promised it would be easier to gain entry to the insanely popular concerts.
Forbes this year named Miley among the “Top 20 Earners Under 25,” placing No. 17 with an annual earning of $3.5 million US. The talented child star has a clothing line, books, bags, perfumes, and even wigs that add to her astronomical earnings.
