The decrease in attendance was 19.2% in 2007. This meant that consumers were not supportive of the new talent and mid-level talent in entertainment.
There were other factors that influenced this downward trend. There were fewer touring artists on the road. Even for the global tours, fewer entertainers were willing to do their shows long haul on the road.
The Police tour was a re-union that proved to be a huge success. The money was sill being accounted for and more money was flowing in. It was the best touring band in concert for the past months in 2007.
