Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Comfort Ricky Hatton After Title Defeat

It was boxing night for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as the couple made their was to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to watch Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton duke it out. Brangelina reportedly cheered the boxers on along with quite a few other notable celebrities including Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Tiger Woods, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kid Rock and Will Ferrell. David Beckham and Tom Jones sang the national anthem for the anticipated event.
Hatton lost the fight after being knocked out in the 10th round but perhaps he took comfort in the support of Hollywood power couple Angelina and Brad. A source is claiming that Angelina and Brad made a point of visiting Ricky after the fight to see that he was OK and to say well done. Angelina allegedly told the Brit boxer that “he was very brave.”
This was Hatton’s first defeat in 44 fights over a 10-year period. The press is reporting that the fighter will continue his career but probably in a different weight division - light-welterweight.
