Record Deal for Julianne Hough

Two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champion, Julianne Hough, has signed a deal with Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville label. Hough is reportedly aiming to have a country single ready for release in early 2008. The gorgeous blonde released the country tune “Will You Dance with Me” via iTunes in May. Hough and producer David Malloy are planning to start recording her debut album next month in Nashville.

the 19-year-old Salt Lake City native studied dance in London and sang with a pop group as a teen.

Rumors were circulating that Julianne and Castroneves were perhaps more than just dancing partners during the “DWTS” competition but Hough recently told “People” Magazine: “I love Helio like he is my brother. We are the best of friends,”
