Liza Minnelli Concert Attack

One of Liza Minnelli’s crew members was held by police in Stockholm, Swedan late Saturday on suspicions of assaulting a photographer who was allegedly filming Minnelli’s performance.

A Christmas concert starring Liza Minnelli was anything but peaceful. Minnelli was performing in Sweden as part of the gala event “A Classic Christmas Night.” She was part of the extravaganza that included several Swedish musicians.

Minnelli won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in the 1972 film “Cabaret.” She won an Emmy for the 1972 TV special “Liza with a Z.” She also won Tony Awards in 1974 and 1978. Minnelli is the daughter of Silver Screen actress Julie Garland who is most famous for the classic movie, “The Wizard of Oz.”
