Joan Collins and the Post Office Scandal.
Posted on December 9, 2007Joan Collins did an ad for a British post office. The post office was a lie as it was a fake set up. The location was actually a bathroom and lighting shop. This store was nearby a real post office that was shut down amidst protests.
The Liberal Democrat MP Susan Kramer criticized the Post Office officials for wasting money on the fake set. She said that the cash would be better spent re-opening the real post office that was shut down. This post office was at ground level and more convenient for elderly people to access.
Joan Collins was saved from implication in this fake post office ad scandal. The Post Office spokesman said that she had performed her filming in a studio in Wets London and was unaware of the complete story behind this fake post office set.
