Floyd Mayweather defeated Ricky Hattan.
Posted on December 9, 2007Ricky Hattan lost to Floyd Mayweather in the 10th round. He suffered a knockout a round 10 and struggled to stand up after the referee counted 8. Hattan went down again a second time and the referee stopped the boxing match by declaring Mayweather as the winner.
Hattan praised Mayweather for his skills and blamed himself for under-estimating his opponent. He apologized to his huge fan base for his loss. The press said that Hattan was far outclassed by Mayweather and did not stand a chance. Mayweather gave Hattan full credit for being a good boxer. He also revealed his plan for a break before deciding whether to continue with his professional career in boxing.
