John Mayer Confesses His Crush on Ricki Lake

Singer John Mayer and actress Ricki Lake have prompted rumors of a romance, after the 30-year-old singer/songwriter confessed he has a crush on the former talk show host.
Mayer met a newly slimmed down Lake at a company Christmas party on Tuesday. It’s been reported that Ricki has dropped 125 pounds. She weighed in at 260 pounds at one time. According to the “New York Post”, Mayer told Lake, “I’ve had a crush on you for two years.”
The pair then exchanged numbers, went their separate ways but texted each other into the night. While appearing on the “Howard Stern Show,” Lake confirmed her encounter with the musician.
Mayer has been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson and Cameron Diaz in the past. Lake was married to her husband, Rob Sussman, before divorcing.
John Mayer has been nominated for best male pop vocal Grammy for the song “Belief”. Ricki Lake’s newest project is a documentary, “The Business of Being Born,” in which she explores America’s child birthing industry.
